The 003 lamp brings together two opposing volumes that intersect and complete each other, forming a single sculptural whole.

A solid metal body carries the quiet weight of translucent stone, while two spheres stack above it along a vertical axis.

Each sphere is split in half between polished metal that reflects and frosted glass that glows, so a single form holds two contrasting textures at once.

MATERIALS & LIGHTING IN THE SPACE

The body pairs metal with light-transmitting stone. The light source sits in direct contact with the stone, letting warmth spread through it in a soft, even glow, as if the stone itself were radiating light.

This glow becomes a quiet accent that supports the lamp’s main light source rather than competing with it.

Above, the frosted glass halves of the two spheres glow clearly while the polished metal halves quietly reflect, striking a balance between stillness and movement within the same form.

Materials and craftsmanship

The metal body, stone base and the two split spheres of the 003 lamp are fitted and finished by hand at Hilykan Factory in Vietnam.

Because the stone is a natural material, its exact grain and translucency vary slightly from piece to piece, so no two 003 lamps glow in quite the same way.

Clean the frosted-glass sphere halves with a soft cloth, and avoid ammonia-based glass cleaners and abrasive pads on any part of the lamp.

About the stone-and-metal finish

Because the stone is a natural material, light travels through it unevenly, giving each 003 lamp a slightly individual glow.

The polished metal, like any mirror finish, will show fingerprints and dust more easily than a matte surface. A quick wipe with a soft cloth restores its shine.
