IDEA & DESIGN
In Sino-Vietnamese, “Chuc” means candle. From that idea, the Chuc M lamp takes a form that recalls candles set in ceramic holders.
Rather than copying that familiar image, Chuc M expresses it in a more modern form: a straight, slender tube of light rising from a full, rounded ceramic body.
The result is a lamp that stirs memory while giving a softer, gentler light than a real candle flame.
MATERIALS & LIGHTING IN THE SPACE
The body is made of hand-patterned ceramic. Chuc celebrates the beauty and spirit of ceramics, and refuses to let this traditional material become outdated.
The acrylic tube above acts as the glowing body of the candle, showing that ceramics can blend fully with new materials and take on a different spirit.
A 3000K LED with a driver spreads a warm, soft light through the acrylic tube, turning the lamp into a gentle accent of light in the space. Size: W90 x H765 mm (acrylic tube: Ø20 mm, 600 mm long; ceramic neck: 85 mm high; ceramic body: 80 mm high, 90 mm wide).
Chuc M lamp in the living space
On a desk, a shelf or a bedside table, Chuc M is a small, warm point of light that brings the atmosphere of candlelight into the room.
The M size suits mid-size tables and shelves. The Chuc collection also includes an S size for smaller spaces and an L size for places that need a larger accent.
Place it on its own, or combine several sizes in one space to create a rhythm of heights, like a cluster of candles.
Why warm light suits this design
Color temperature is measured in Kelvin. Lower numbers give a warmer, golden light, while higher numbers look whiter and cooler. See color temperature for more detail.
At 3000K, the Chuc M lamp gives a warm tone close to candlelight, which flatters the painted ceramic and keeps the mood calm and relaxed.
Caring for your Chuc M lamp
Wipe the ceramic body with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth. Avoid strong cleaners that could affect the glaze and the painted pattern.
Wipe the acrylic tube with a soft, slightly damp cloth. Do not use alcohol or ammonia-based cleaners.
Because the pattern is painted by hand on the ceramic, each Chuc lamp has slightly different brushwork. This is a mark of handcraft, not a defect.
