Velora

IDEA & DESIGN

The Velora lamp is a refined table lamp that brings together minimalist structure and soft, atmospheric illumination.

Its slender steel frame provides a strong architectural presence, while the delicate fabric shade diffuses light with a smooth, silk-like quality that carries through the whole room.

The contrast between the dark metal and the gentle glow creates a balanced composition of strength and softness, structure and quiet warmth.

MATERIALS & LIGHTING IN THE SPACE

The metal body of the Velora lamp is finished in black paint, giving it a quiet, matte presence that does not compete with the light above it.

Topped with a fabric shade, the lamp glows at a warm 3000K, casting light with a soft, even quality rather than a harsh, direct beam of light.

When illuminated, the Velora lamp transforms desks, bedside tables, and quiet corners into warm, intimate spaces without overpowering the surrounding interior or its colors.

Materials and craftsmanship

The Velora lamp is manufactured at Hilykan Factory in Vietnam, pairing a black-painted metal frame with a hand-fitted fabric shade, assembled and checked piece by piece.

More than a functional light, the Velora lamp is a subtle statement of modern elegance, designed for interiors that value simplicity, comfort, and timeless visual harmony over ornament.

Velora lamp in the living space

On a desk, the Velora lamp gives a soft, even pool of light that suits reading or quiet work without feeling clinical, closer to lamplight than office lighting.

In a living room, it works well on a side table beside a sofa or armchair, adding a low, ambient layer of light alongside a room’s main fixture.

On a bedside table, its silk-like glow makes it an easy, calming presence at the end of the day, gentle enough to leave on while winding down.

Warm light and glow

The warm 3000K light passes through the fabric shade to create a diffused, gentle glow, rather than a sharp point of light.

Because the light is soft and indirect, the Velora lamp works well as an accent light without causing glare for anyone nearby.

Styling this lamp

The slender black frame suits minimalist interiors, but its fabric shade also softens more traditional or textured rooms, bridging the two styles comfortably.

Pair the Velora lamp with natural materials like wood and linen, where its dark metal frame provides quiet contrast against softer surfaces.

Keep the space around it simple. As a minimalist piece, the Velora lamp is designed to be noticed for its glow rather than for ornament or decoration.

Why warm light suits this design

Color temperature is measured in Kelvin. Lower numbers give a warmer, golden light, while higher numbers look whiter and cooler. See color temperature for more detail.

Around 3000K is often chosen for living rooms and bedrooms because its soft warm-white tone is relaxing, and it suits the Velora lamp’s fabric shade particularly well, letting the glow read as soft rather than stark.

Caring for your Velora lamp

Wipe the black-painted metal frame with a soft, dry cloth; avoid abrasive cleaners or scouring pads, which can dull or scratch the paint.

Dust the fabric shade gently with a soft brush or a lint roller, and keep it away from direct moisture and humid rooms.

About the fabric shade

The fabric shade is what gives the Velora lamp its silk-like, diffused glow, spreading the light evenly rather than letting it show as a single bright point.

Because fabric is a soft material, handle the shade gently when moving or cleaning the lamp, and avoid pressing directly on its surface.

Keep the lamp away from open flame and very high heat sources, as with any fabric-shaded light, and let the bulb cool before handling the shade.
